Donald Trump's inauguration took place one week after I started with ing Magazine, MSU's student run arts and culture publication. As such. I felt we had an obligation to think about our role in discussing the events happening in the U.S. and their forthcoming impact on our East Lansing community.
In a publication analysis of ing, I analyzed our publication as a whole and provided insights on how I think the publication should move forward. As a result, our class continued to think about the ways in which we can cover current events through the lens of arts and culture on campus.
